Allow the topsoil to dry out between watering. If you do not provide water for 1 or 2 weeks, they won’t much bother about that too.

Feed them once or twice in a year. If the plant is starving (how to tell if it is starving), then feed them with slow releasing liquid fertilizer.

Rich organic well-drained soil.
