It is easy to grow a jade at home. These plants tolerate all neglects. A wide variety of jade is available in the market such as variegated, plain leaves, big leaves, etc.
These are good indoor plants, but they need bright sunlight to grow. If kept in a dark corner the plant will die. So a well-lit window sill is a perfect spot for growing jade and balconies are also recommended. If the plant is not getting enough sunlight, they will become leggy.
We must not follow a regular schedule for watering jade. Water only when the topsoil is dry and doesn’t allow the soil to completely dry out between watering.
Give them nitrogen-rich liquid fertilizer for their enhanced growth. Make sure the soil is wet before fertilizing. Fertilize them once in a month.
A well-drained soil or succulent soil is recommended for their robust growth. Add perlite for aeration.
